From insulation to downspouts, swing-out feeders to cupolas, we offer options to personalize your equestrian facility.
Keep in mind, many of these options are also available for steel buildings. To see our steel building options, visit Southwest-Metal.com
Roofing Insulation assists in holding summer heat at bay. We offer only JM Formaldehyde Free insulation. Our insulation comes with a vinyl reinforced facing and we also have a heavy duty option. Our insulation comes cut to fit for your building so you don't have wasted material. Black facing available.
Framed Openings The ideal solution if you live outside our local area or you want a special window or door. Providing a framed opening rather than a window eliminates the risk of breakage during delivery and expensive "glass handling" fees. Simply buy the windows or doors at your favorite store, and provide us with the size of the framed opening and your barn will arrive ready to accept the windows or doors you've chosen.
Divider Grills Galvanized vertical grills go on the stall divider panel to allow your horses to see each other and to increase ventilation throughout the barn. This option is available on horse barns only.
Feeder Options One of our customer favorites is the swing-out feeder option. By keeping the feed and hay off the ground and providing easy access from outside of the stalls, barn life is simplified. We also offer corner hay racks for inside the stall. Swing-out feeders are installed in place of the 28" grill section of the stall front. Our swing-out feeders swivel from the inside of the wall into the alleyway, and lock into place, so you can easily feed from the valley. These feeders include standard hay-rack and a feed tub.
Feed & Wash Bays You can use any stall area for a feed or wash bay. Cinder block wash bays can be added to your horse barn.
Wainscoting Looking for that unique distinction to help your building stand apart? This is a different colored panel around the bottom of your building that enhances its appearance. Available on horse barns and metal buildings.
Raise Eave Height & Raised Roof Pitch By raising the eave height, you can allow for more ventilation in a Raised Center Aisle style barn or steel building. You also choose the roof pitch for your facility to get the style you're dreaming of.
Lumber Packages We give our barns the warmth of wood with a #1 Hand Select Southern Yellow Pine that we have milled specially for us.
Our raised center aisle horse barns come standard with Double Sliding Doors at each end of the alley. You can add either single or double sliding doors to your metal building to allow easy access, and increase ventilation in arenas.
The Rotating Tack Wall is a tack room option for your horse barn. It provides you with a tack wall that can be rotated to the breezeway to make saddling and unsaddling easier. Many of our customers install bridle and saddle racks to the interior of the wall to provide easy access to everything they need at arms reach.
These horse-safe Swing-Out Style Stall Windows measure 3' x 3' and have stylish cross-buck trim. You can add stationary grills that allow ventilation, but do not allow your horse access to the outside. Available on horse barns and metal buildings.
